Friday, May 12, 7 pm: David Korten launches his new book, The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community with response by Frances Moore Lappé.
Cost: $10 (included in Saturday’s registration fee if attending both events).
Saturday, May 13, 9 am-4 pm: Opening address by Frances Moore Lappé, author of Democracy’s Edge and Diet for a Small Planet. Followed by interactive workshops, music, exhibits, “no sweat” fashion show, fair trade booths, and more!
Cost: $40; students $10. Includes continental breakfast and lunch.
